Wednesday season 2 was released on Netflix in two parts in 2025. The season continues Wednesday Addams' story at the supernatural boarding school, Nevermore Academy, and features a new mystery involving a dangerous stalker.

The season consists of eight episodes. 

• Part 1 (Episodes 1–4): Released on August 6, 2025.
• Part 2 (Episodes 5–8): Scheduled for release on September 3, 2025. 

Plot details

In the first half of season 2, Wednesday returns to Nevermore as an unwilling celebrity and quickly becomes the target of a stalker known as "The Avian". The investigation into this new menace leads Wednesday and her Uncle Fester to the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, where they uncover a conspiracy involving a secret program called LOIS.

• New Mystery: The season's primary mystery revolves around The Avian and the secrets hidden within Willow Hill.
• Expanded Addams Family Role: Wednesday's family, including her brother Pugsley, has a more significant presence at Nevermore, creating new and complicated dynamics for Wednesday.
• New Characters: The cast expanded with Steve Buscemi as the new Principal Dort, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump, and Lady Gaga in a guest role.
• Unexpected Return: Gwendoline Christie, who played Principal Weems in season 1, returns in part 2 in a new role as Wednesday's "spirit guide".
• Cliffhanger Ending: Part 1 ended with a dramatic cliffhanger involving the rogue Hyde, Tyler Galpin, setting up an intense second half of the season.
