Meanwhile, Enid, feeling insulted by Wednesday's protective actions, decides to take matters into her own hands and tries to reunite the Nightshades to fight Tyler.
The climax of the episode reveals that Tyler's mother, Francoise, is also a Hyde and is the mysterious "Patient 1938." She shows up to save Tyler from Wednesday's trap after making a deal with Morticia.
Pugsley and Gomez are on their own side plot, trying to track down Slurp, who is becoming more human-like as he consumes brains.
