hool Chuk Maaf is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language fantasy romantic comedy film written and directed by Karan Sharma. Produced by Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios, the film stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. It was released in theaters on May 23, 2025
Plot summary
Set in the city of Varanasi, the story follows Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao), a young man in love with Titli (Wamiqa Gabbi). Her father, however, will only allow them to marry if Ranjan gets a government job. Desperate, Ranjan makes a vow to Lord Shiva and bribes a fixer named Bhagwan Das (Sanjay Mishra) to secure the job illegally.
The wedding is set for the 30th of the month, but after his haldi ceremony on the 29th, Ranjan wakes up to find himself repeating the same day. He soon realizes he is stuck in a time loop because he did not fulfill his vow to Lord Shiva. He must find a way to perform a truly good deed to break the loop and secure his future with Titli.

Release details
Bhool Chuk Maaf was initially planned for a direct-to-streaming release, but Maddock Films reached a settlement with PVR Inox after a lawsuit. It first premiered in theaters on May 23, 2025, and then became available on Amazon Prime Video starting June 6, 2025.
Reception
