Kapkapiii is a 2025 Indian horror-comedy film and a Hindi remake of the 2023 Malayalam hit Romancham. The film, directed by the late Sangeeth Sivan, was released on May 23, 2025.
Plot
Kapkapiii centers on a group of friends who are unemployed and living together in a rundown house. When one of them, Manu (Shreyas Talpade), brings home an Ouija board, they decide to play around with it to summon a spirit.
Initially, they treat it as a game, but things take a terrifying turn when the spirit they call, named Anamika, begins to communicate with eerie accuracy. Word of their unusual ability to speak with the spirit world spreads, and people start lining up at their door for answers.
