Plot
The story follows Jassi (Ajay Devgn), a simpleton from Punjab whose wife, Dimple (Neeru Bajwa), who has been living in London for work, asks him for a divorce when he finally gets a visa to join her. Devastated, Jassi decides to stay in London and encounters Rabia (Mrunal Thakur), a Pakistani musician who runs a wedding band. Rabia's foster daughter, Saba (Roshni Walia), is in love with Gogi (Sahil Mehta), the son of Raja (Ravi Kishan), a businessman who insists his son marry into a high-status Sikh family. With Saba's parents absent, Rabia convinces Jassi to pose as Saba's father, and Saba further complicates things by claiming Jassi is an Indian Army Colonel, leading to a series of comedic and culturally sensitive situations. The plot also involves a side story about Jassi faking being a war hero to help a couple get their parents' approval for their marriage. The film explores themes of cultural clashes, identity, love, and family dynamics within a comedic framework.
