Episode synopsis

A desperate plan: Facing overwhelming odds at the Trost District supply depot, the stranded cadets have depleted their gas reserves. Inspired by the sight of an Abnormal Titan fighting other Titans, Armin creates a high-risk plan. The goal is to draw the attention of the Titan-killing Abnormal to the main horde at the headquarters, creating a diversion so the cadets can resupply.

Risky gambit: Jean leads a squad in a dangerous charge toward the supply depot, facing the Titans directly. Despite their fear and the heavy casualties, the cadets use Armin's plan to draw the Titans' attention and enter the building.

The supply room assault: Inside, the cadets find their path to the gas supply room blocked by several Titans. Armin proposes a coordinated attack. By lowering a lift, the cadets can blind the Titans with rifle fire before a small strike team descends from above to kill them.

The reveal: After refilling their gas, the cadets witness the mysterious Abnormal Titan fall after being swarmed by other Titans. As the Abnormal's corpse disintegrates, a human figure emerges from the nape of its neck: Eren Yeager, alive and miraculously healed. Mikasa, who had been grieving his supposed death, rushes to him in a moment of emotional relief.

The shock and disbelief: The episode concludes with the main cast of cadets reeling from this world-altering revelation. Eren, last seen being swallowed whole by a Titan, has somehow survived and gained the power to transform into one himself.
