Plot summary
The story picks up seven years after the events of the first film, with Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) living with her seven-year-old daughter, Ishani. Ishani has a condition that makes her vulnerable to sunlight, a protective measure put in place to shield her from the dark forces associated with the village.
Their peaceful life is shattered when Ishani is kidnapped by a sinister cult connected to her father Rajbir's family. With the help of Inspector Samar (Gashmeer Mahajani), Sakshi returns to the haunted village and the cursed sugarcane fields to rescue her daughter.
There, she confronts the new antagonist, Daasi Maa (Soha Ali Khan), a shape-shifting high-priestess who leads the cult. The cult practices child marriage and dark rituals to sacrifice young girls for immortality. Sakshi must navigate eerie underground labyrinths and battle Daasi Maa and her alive-and-seeking-revenge husband, Rajbir, to save Ishani and fight for all the women who have been victims of these societal evils.
